About the C sharp Tritone scale
C sharp Tritone is used for jazz and film music that wants a symmetrical, unstable color. Think of it as a symmetrical six-note scale built on the tritone. It is C♯ Blues Diminished with the third lowered.
Its notes are C♯, D, E♯, G, G♯, and B. The formula is H 1½ W H 1½ W.
C♯ Tritone draws two black keys from the piano, C♯ and G♯. Even so, the raised fourth is the white key G.
