About the F Bebop 7#11 scale

F Bebop 7#11 is used for bebop solos over dominant chords with a raised eleventh. Think of it as a Lydian dominant filled out into a bebop scale. It is F Bebop Dominant with the fourth raised.

Its notes are F, G, A, B, C, D, E, and E. The formula is W W W H W H H H.

Also called Bebop Lydian Dominant.

The scale shares E, A, D, G, and B with the guitar's open strings. Down at the 1st fret of the low E string lies the lowest F a guitar can play. The scale plays in open position, a whole octave of the scale falling within the first three frets.
