Its notes are G♭, A♭, B♭, C, D♭, E♭, and F. The formula is W W W H W W H. It is the fourth mode of D♭ Major.
Also called Yaman and Kalyan.
The 2nd fret of the low E string is the lowest G♭ on the neck. A capo at the second fret brings G♭ Lydian within reach of E-shape fingerings.
