A sharp Lydian #2 #6 is used for experimental jazz and film scoring. Think of it as a heavily sharpened Lydian, raised second, fourth and sixth.

Its notes are A, B♯♯, C♯♯, D♯♯, E, G, and G♯♯. The formula is 1½ H W H 1½ H H. It is the second mode of G♯♯ Double Harmonic Major.

Also called Rasikapriya.

On the piano, A Lydian 2 6 touches the black keys A, B♯♯, and G. Even so, the raised fourth is the white key D♯♯.
