A sharp Lydian #2 #6 is used for experimental jazz and film scoring. Think of it as a heavily sharpened Lydian, raised second, fourth and sixth.
Its notes are A♯, B♯♯, C♯♯, D♯♯, E♯, G♯, and G♯♯. The formula is 1½ H W H 1½ H H. It is the second mode of G♯♯ Double Harmonic Major.
Also called Rasikapriya.
On the piano, A♯ Lydian ♯2 ♯6 touches the black keys A♯, B♯♯, and G♯. Even so, the raised fourth is the white key D♯♯.
