About the A Scriabin scale
A Scriabin is used for impressionist and mystical concert music. Think of it as a five-note scale from the late, mystical harmony of Scriabin. It is A Major Pentatonic with the second lowered.
Its notes are A, B♭, C♯, E, and F♯. The formula is H 1½ 1½ W 1½.
Also called Major Pentatonic ♭2 and Vibhas.
Three of the notes in A Scriabin are black keys, B♭, C♯, and F♯.
