About the D flat Scriabin scale
D flat Scriabin is used for impressionist and mystical concert music. Think of it as a five-note scale from the late, mystical harmony of Scriabin. It is D♭ Major Pentatonic with the second lowered.
Its notes are D♭, D, F, A♭, and B♭. The formula is H 1½ 1½ W 1½.
Also called Major Pentatonic ♭2 and Vibhas.
D♭ Scriabin draws three black keys from the piano, D♭, A♭, and B♭.
