About the B flat Scriabin scale
B flat Scriabin is used for impressionist and mystical concert music. Think of it as a five-note scale from the late, mystical harmony of Scriabin. It is B♭ Major Pentatonic with the second lowered.
Its notes are B♭, C♭, D, F, and G. The formula is H 1½ 1½ W 1½.
Also called Major Pentatonic ♭2 and Vibhas.
B♭ Scriabin uses one black key on the piano, B♭. The scale lines up four white keys back to back.
