Practicing it
In the right hand, the thumb comes under on C. The left thumb lands on D, and the hand crosses back over it from there. Read the left hand's numbers in reverse and they spell the right hand's, which makes this scale mirror itself in contrary motion from G. The long fingers cover the black keys B♭ and F♯, and the fourth finger anchors the shape on F♯, and the hand sits forward on the keyboard to keep them there.
