About the B Scriabin scale
B Scriabin is used for impressionist and mystical concert music. Think of it as a five-note scale from the late, mystical harmony of Scriabin. It is B Major Pentatonic with the second lowered.
Its notes are B, C, D♯, F♯, and G♯. The formula is H 1½ 1½ W 1½.
Also called Major Pentatonic ♭2 and Vibhas.
The open-string note B sits inside the mode. The lowest B on a standard-tuned guitar sits at the 2nd fret of the A string. Capo the second fret to play B Scriabin with A-shape fingerings.
