Practicing it

F and C are the notes the right thumb passes under to reach. Going up, the left hand crosses over after its thumb plays G and D. The left hand's fingering read backwards is the right hand's, so starting both thumbs on E and playing outward in contrary motion uses the same finger in each hand at every step. Every black key here, E, A, and B, sits under a long finger, with the fourth finger anchoring on B, so the thumb never has to reach onto the raised group.
