Its notes are F♯, G, G♯, A, A♯, B, B♯, C♯, D, D♯, E, and E♯. The formula is H H H H H H H H H H H H.
Also called Twelve-Tone Scale.
An unfretted guitar already sounds E, A, D, G, and B from this mode. On guitar, the deepest F♯ within reach is the 2nd fret of the low E string. A capo at the second fret brings F♯ Chromatic within reach of E-shape fingerings.
