About the F sharp Scriabin scale
F sharp Scriabin is used for impressionist and mystical concert music. Think of it as a five-note scale from the late, mystical harmony of Scriabin. It is F♯ Major Pentatonic with the second lowered.
Its notes are F♯, G, A♯, C♯, and D♯. The formula is H 1½ 1½ W 1½.
Also called Major Pentatonic ♭2 and Vibhas.
One open-string note belongs to F♯ Scriabin, namely G. A guitarist finds the lowest F♯ at the 2nd fret of the low E string. A capo at the second fret brings F♯ Scriabin within reach of E-shape fingerings.
